Before you hire one of our trucks, check that you carry the correct driver’s licence. Licensing requirements may vary depending on which truck you rent out. A C-Class licence is suitable for some of our lighter trucks, but Light Rigid (LR) or Heavy Rigid (HR) may be needed for our larger trucks like the four tonne flat bed or eight tonne flat bed. Always check with the Department of Transport to ensure you meet the licensing requirements. Northfleet also offers wet hire services for all our vehicles, including trucks, buses and cranes. We are able to supply a qualified driver to take the stress out of moving your inventory. If you are driving the vehicle yourself, simply present a valid licence at the time of pickup, along with licences for any other drivers that will be using the vehicle. If you need to register a new driver part way through your hire period, contact your sales representative or the depot you picked up the truck from to provide the driver’s details. 

Northfleet mine spec trucks are available for long or short term hire at one of our depots. We supply fully serviced vehicles in Perth, Newman, Port Hedland, Karratha, and Bunbury. Conveniently spread out, our depot locations make rental trucks accessible to everyone across Western Australia. And luckily, there is no maximum hire period for our vehicles. In fact, Northfleet specialises in long term mine site hire, making us the ideal choice for lengthy transport requirements. However, minimum hire times may apply depending on current demand. 

The cost of your Northfleet truck hire will depend on the services you require. Our trucks are available for a range of different transportation services including hotshot trucking with our smaller trucks and prime moving for our larger trucks. All of our rental prices include both servicing and maintenance. It is worth noting that you may encounter extra fees for hire period extensions, cancellations, or interstate travel.
