Flat Top Extendable Trailer

A flat top extendable trailer is a versatile trailer ideal for transporting irregular loads. Its open design and flat base provide stability and support, while the sliding platform extends and compacts to suit different machinery and equipment sizes. With a large weight capacity and durable build, extendable flat top trailers give you the accessibility of a regular flat top with the benefit of extra space. Northfleet’s trailers are top-quality and available for long and short term hire.

What are the benefits of a flat top extendable trailer?

The main benefit of a flat top extendable trailer is the ability to accommodate a wide range of loads. Flat tops, or flatbed trailers, are an open trailer with a platform and wheels. An extendable flat top comes with all the benefits of a regular flat top trailer, like easy loading and unloading, off-ground storage, and large weight capacity. The added benefit lies in the sliding mechanism which allows the trailer to expand or condense to suit a number of load types. This versatility makes the flat top extendable trailer an excellent choice for transporting materials and machinery of all shapes and sizes.

Northfleet’s range of trailers are also serviced regularly by industry experts. Our professional team ensures your vehicle is safe and reliable, with a majority of our fleet being less than three years old. We’re passionate about keeping you safe on the roads, which is why all our vehicles are fitted with GPS tracking gear as part of our standard safety procedures.

Where can I use a flat top extendable trailer?

You can use Northfleet’s extendable flat top trailer for a variety of machinery and vehicle transport solutions. On mine sites, extendable flat tops are used to move forklifts and other equipment across rough terrain. The open design of a flat top means loads are accessible from all sides, allowing for simple and safe loading and unloading. Flat top extendable trailers can also be used to store materials that can’t be left on the ground. When you’re not transporting the trailer, it’s a great off-ground storage solution.

How much does it cost to hire a flat top trailer?

The cost of your extendable flat top trailer hire depends on services. Regular servicing is included in the hire price, but additional costs may occur for cancellations, extensions, and interstate travel. Northfleet also offers wet hire services, where we supply a driver or appropriate team of professionals to operate your vehicle. We even have a prime movers available for hire, ideal for pulling trailers.
