375 – 425 CFM Air Compressor

Northfleet’s 375-425 CFM air compressor is a diesel-powered, air quality certified machine used to operate pneumatic tools. Suited for a variety of applications, air compressors are great for drills, ratchets, grinders, and more. Our air compressor is road towable and available for both long and short term hire.

How does a 375-425 CFM air compressor work?

A 375-425 CFM air compressor works by taking in air and pressurising it in a container. This process creates potential energy which is stored in a tank. When the air is released, potential energy becomes kinetic, which powers a number of pneumatic (air-operated) tools. Pneumatic tools and equipment often generate more power than regular tools, so air compressors are essential.

What does CFM mean for air compressors?

Cubic Feet per Minute (CFM) measures the volume of air a compressor moves per minute. This means Northfleet’s air compressor moves 375-425 cubic feet of air per minute. Most pneumatic tools require a certain level of CFM to operate. Besides matching the air compressor CFM to your tools, you’ll also need to understand whether your compressor operates with a receiver tank, and whether it has a rotary screw. These factors will impact how your tools should be used.

What are the features of a 375-435 CFM air compressor?

Northfleet’s 375-425 CFM air compressor comes with a range of features to suit unique mine site operations. Its diesel-powered engine makes it long lasting and reliable for different work requirements. Our air compressor also meets the Australian Standards for breathing air quality. This is particularly important if you’re using the compressor to perform spray painting, welding and sandblasting, and chemical manufacturing. That means the compressed air is safe for breathing in work environments. The 375-425 CFM air compressor is also road towable, ensuring ease of transport.

When do I need a 375-425 CFM Air Compressor?

You need a 375-425 CFM air compressor to operate a number of tools on mine sites. Drills, paint sprayers, nail guns, and jackhammers all use air compressors to generate power. Northfleet’s towable air compressors makes it ideal for onsite use. You can transport the compressor on roads by attaching it to a vehicle.
