Frequently Asked Questions
The vehicle is picked up and returned to the same depot normally full of fuel and in the same condition, except for normal wear and tear. For an extra fee Northfleet can arrange the drop off and pick up of the vehicle. Also on long term hires the customer may do the scheduled servicing of the vehicles with the appropriate paperwork forward onto Northfleet to reduce the hire cost.

What does Wet Hire mean?
The customer has no obligations other than being on time to the pre-arranged pick up point. Northfleet covers all aspects of the charter during Wet Hire. Including Fuel, Driver, and Vehicle.

What does Dry Hire Mean?
The customer hires the vehicle only and is responsible for all fuels, oils and all damage that occurs. The same conditions as your company hire car.
If I do not require some features, do I have to pay for them?
Our rates vary according to the customers’ requirements in the vehicles. The less features and size of the vehicle required the less the cost of the charter or vehicle.

What does MOB and DEMOB mean?
MOB is the charge invoiced to the customer when the vehicle does not get picked up from the depot and needs to be delivered to the customer.
DEMOB is the same but at the end of the hire when it is getting returned.
The cost varies depending on the distance etc.
   
How do I confirm my booking?
No booking is confirmed until you provide a purchase order for approved customers or deposit with a signed quotation form. Northfleet will the confirm then booking once this is received.
   
What if I want to add or change my booking at late notice?
This is possible by contacting Northfleet: However this needs to be done 24hrs before the delegated pick up time to enable efficient bus and/or driver coordination.
